This has been the summer of beautiful outdoor weddings in Michigan! I loved returning to Woldumar Nature Center in East Lansing for Erica and Nate’s wedding a few weeks ago. A short walk in the woods led to their ceremony site alongside a creek…add in some sunshine, beloved friends and family, and you have the perfect wedding day for a couple who were so excited to begin their marriage together! I loved all the vintage/rustic details of the day that were carefully planned and made – Erica made the cake topper and her brooch bouquet herself to name a few:) I could tell that neither of them had let the wedding planning eclipse the actual marriage itself and the focus of the day truly was the commitment they were making to each other as a family. Their friends and family have stood with them through thick and thin and were so thankful to be a part of their wedding day.
