Becca and Calvin had a crazy amazing wedding day in Becca’s hometown of Traverse City! I’m so excited to be sharing some favorites from their surprise wedding day, from hanging out with the girls in the morning to a surprise fireworks ending. Having invited their friends and family under the guise of an engagement party, they surprised everyone by getting married! What a blast to see the excited reactions and be a part of such a fun day from start to finish. The first half of the day was spent at their good friend’s home on the Grand Traverse Bay getting ready, drinking champagne, wake boarding, and a joy-filled first look between Cal and Becca. From there we drove down the road a few minutes and the party began! After lawn games, drinks, and delicious hors d’oeuvres (thanks to the amazing Urban Foodcrafters!), Calvin grabbed the mic and announced that a wedding would be happening! After changing into their wedding finery (Becca looked GORGEOUS in her BHLDN gown), they married on the front lawn overlooking the water, with family and friends surrounding them. Just a few hours later, Becca and Calvin got a turn at being surprised by the beautiful fireworks display to close the night out. Their wedding could not have been more lovely, meaningful, and fun! Congrats to both of you as you live out your vows to each other every day!
