I was truly blessed to be a part of Anna and Matt’s wedding last month! I met them both a little over a year ago at Anna’s brother’s wedding, and I was so excited when they got in touch last fall about photographing their own wedding! So much about their wedding was incredibly meaningful and rich, and what struck me most about these two was the closeness in both the Buffum and Costello families. The care and support, from several generations, was so evident and such a huge blessing to them both as they begin their marriage together. We began the day with their first look at Cornerstone University underneath a grand willow tree, where they married just hours later at Christ Chapel on Cornerstone’s campus. After the ceremony they released doves trained by Anna’s grandfather, a special tradition symbolizing the start of their life’s journey together. From there we headed to Watermark Country Club for a very fun party with family and many friends from both Cornerstone University (where Anna went to school) and MSU (where Matt went to school).
